This job is occasional, flexible, and perfectly tailored for students in CYCW, SSW, DSW, or related programs. Candidates must be actively enrolled, from year one to three, and will need to provide a recent resume and cover letter to apply.
What You’ll Be Doing Every Day
Your role will revolve around assisting students who have special educational, physical, or behavioural needs. Every assignment may bring new challenges and require adaptability.
Supporting academic growth, helping with personal care, and responding to emotional needs are all part of your daily duties. You’ll become part of a supportive in-school team.
You might be assigned to a general classroom or a specialized setting, such as those for learning disabilities or developmental needs. No two days are exactly the same.
Beyond direct student support, you’ll contribute to the broader school community, lending a helping hand wherever extra assistance is needed.
