The Casual Educational Assistant (Students Only) position offers a fantastic starting hourly wage of $25.24, adding 4% in lieu of vacation pay. What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Your role will revolve around assisting students who have special educational, physical, or behavioural needs. Every assignment may bring new challenges and require adaptability.

Supporting academic growth, helping with personal care, and responding to emotional needs are all part of your daily duties. You’ll become part of a supportive in-school team.

You might be assigned to a general classroom or a specialized setting, such as those for learning disabilities or developmental needs. No two days are exactly the same.

Beyond direct student support, you’ll contribute to the broader school community, lending a helping hand wherever extra assistance is needed.

Additional skills such as First Aid, CPR, and the ability to use Braille or signing will be beneficial and may give you an edge in landing the role.
